Printed on C-type silver halide paper (200gsm).
Genderfull 5 is part of a photographic series exploring gender as internal experience versus outward expression. I use shadows to play with what versions we show/hide of ourselves, and the
duality/multiplicity in how we exist versus how we are perceived. A femme pose can create a masculine shadow. If the shadow is all that’s perceived, does that erase my femininity?
I am not genderless, or gender neutral, but genderfull. My non binary nature holds masculinity and femininity together in fullness, intertwined and in new creations. My gender is not my body.
